"Savings made on standardisation of cabinetsallow our clients to realign their budgets to include top-end finishes and design features," says Jennens. "These finishing touches give the kitchens an individual air, such as the look of a European designer kitchen but for a fraction of the cost."
Four door styles and six colour options are two elements that can be mixed and matched to create an individual look. Frosted glass doors with aluminium edging, for example, work well with a contemporary design.
"When combined with other touches, like the island rolling on castors and the selection of Italian handles, the whole look of the kitchen is dramatically lifted," says Jennens. "Almost every aspect of our Kwik Kit kitchens can be mixed and matched to create literally hundreds of combinations."
Workbench surfaces can be selected in a variety of materials, including solid wood, stainless steel, granite and even concrete. These can be specified in both 30mm and 60mm depths. The design of the benchtops can also be varied. For example, they can be configured to create a waterfall-effect, whereby the surface material is run over the edges of the counter to form the sides of the cabinets.
"Other elements available to put an individual stamp on your kitchen are wire carousels and aluminium toekicks, for a modern accent, or the inclusion of tongue and groove-effect doors and drawers for a country-style look," says Jennens.
