Falling water

Immersive, contemporary and moody, this grey-toned bathroom succeeds in creating the feeling of bathing under a waterfall

Designed by Greenbuild Constructions

From the designer:

A dramatic greyscale palette and intriguing interplay of texture and sculptural form come together in this bathroom, which takes its design cues from the curvilinear architectural themes featured throughout the house.

Occupying centre stage is the oversized circular bathtub, nestled within a curved wall clad in fluted tiles to create a waterfall effect.

This built form is carefully balanced by the smaller curved wall opposite the bath, which leads around to the WC and shower area.

Everything about this bathroom is the epitome of luxury, from the custom recessed shaving cabinets, the oak veneer vanity, and stone tops, through to the large circular bath and fluted stone tiles around the curved walls.

Despite the moody aesthetic, enhanced by the concrete flooring underfoot, this bathroom feels spacious and light, thanks to the high ceilings, Velux skylight and louvered windows.
