The Coro hotel was designed to capture the essence of the iconic Coronation Hotel that used to stand on this very site

Lighting played a big role in the visual outcome of The Coro. It had to respond to the individual atmosphere of each space, but still maintain a visual connectedness.

For this reason, Tony Dowthwaite Lighting Design was involved in the project's design from the outset. Key elements are the use of colour and movement to create a dynamic atmosphere.
