Creating a dramatic, individual kitchen requires a sound knowledge of the industry. But what does this knowledge actually entail? Both kitchens also feature intelligent layouts, with plenty of storage located within easy reach of the cooking areas.

"Alongside the solid cabinetry, ergonomic layouts and modern appliances, we also strive to bring a welcoming ambience to all our projects," says Mayer. "Designing these kitchens with plenty of space around the islands, for example, contributes to their relaxed, approachable feel."
