With the sophisticated lighting systems available today, conference-goers are likely to have high expectations that events they attend will be very professionally presented.

Lightmoves supplied the Dynalite Lighting Control and Energy Sustainability system for much of the convention centre. This reliable system has depth and logic in its programming, allowing for a highly tailored, flexible lighting control system. Dynalite, which integrates with the Building Management System, controls and allows for dimming in the front-of-house, main auditorium and backstage areas of the Plenary Hall. It is as flexible as the hall, adapting its lighting zones to suit the various theatre and seating configurations. Dynalite also provides dimming and control for lighting in other areas of the venue. This system helped the building achieve its 6-Star Green Star energy rating.

In addition, Lightmoves supplied Tridonic Atco warm white LED strips, which were used for step lighting in the Plenary Hall. These strips are controlled by Dynalite LED controllers, so they can be dimmed at different times during productions, meetings and presentations.

Lightmoves has also supplied Dynalite to many other major landmark projects in Melbourne, including the Crown Casino, Federation Square and Southern Cross train station.
