Warm neutral tones for country chic

It isn't just the material palette that ensures this house is in harmony with the setting the paint colour of the exterior was also chosen to blend in. Ellenor White of Clive White Construction says Resene Foggy Grey from the Karen Walker range was specified for the parapets and columns.
"This is a grey-green shade that ties in well with the natural marbled finish of the Litecrete concrete panels, the stone paving and the manuka trees beyond."

Resene Sonyx 101 semi-gloss waterborne paint was used on the exterior. This durable, Environmental-Choice approved paint comes in a wide range of colours, including the Resene Cool Colour range. Colours in this collection reflect more of the sun's energy than a normal colour, which helps keep the substrate and the home interior cooler.
The Karen Walker range, which is available in most Resene paint types, presents six colour stories that pair colours in interesting ways.
