Even if you're not the best cook in the world, the quality of the meals you can produce with the right cookware may surprise you.

To help make cooking as easy as possible, Smeg ovens offer the cook a wide range of functions.

There is a choice of manual, semi-automatic and automatic cooking, and up to 10 different fan-assisted and fan-forced grilling or baking options.

Controlled heat zones inside the oven can simultaneously allow your entree, main course and dessert to cook perfectly at the same time.

Smeg ovens include other features such as a rotisserie, a 90-minute or 24-hour programme or timer alarm, and a defrost function.

The 60cm-wide models can cope with the average household demand and, for those who like to entertain, the 70cm and 90cm models hold large quantities of food.

A key feature of Smeg built-in ovens is a Thermoseal system that enables the oven to become completely sealed during operation. They are also non-venting, which means they do not dehydrate the food.

Because the Thermoseal prevents air escaping during the cooking process, there is no discharge of heat, smoke or grease to discolour surrounding kitchen finishes.

An independent fan-cooling system is incorporated into Smeg ovens to ensure the exterior, control knobs and handles remain cool.

Minimal cleaning is required of Smeg ovens due to the Thermoseal, catalytic wall liners and a removable roof liner.

Pyrolytic cleaning is also an option in some ovens. A high temperature will bake cooking residue off all surfaces, leaving a fine ash that can either be wiped or vacuumed away.
