Kohler, a company renowned for its innovative bathroom products, recently released a bath that brings new meaning to the idea of a private spa retreat.

As its name suggests, the Kohler Regatta BubbleMassage¢ bath envelops the bather in refreshing air bubbles that massage the body and soothe the soul.

The invigorating massage is provided by 120 air jets positioned around the lower perimeter of the bath. The intensity of the jets, which blow heated air into the water, can be customised with a variable-speed control. This incorporates a waterproof electronic keypad designed for safety and ease of use. Most bath oils and salts can also be added if desired.

Other features of the bath include quiet operation. As the bubbles are provided by an air pump, rather than a water pump, the pump is quieter than standard whirlpool tubs.

An intelligent cleaning system is also provided. The Regatta BubbleMassage bath incorporates an air pump, which is automatically activated shortly after use. This dries the bath and purges water from the air duct.

With its acrylic composition and crisp, square-edged styling, the bath is designed to integrate seamlessly into both contemporary- and traditional-style bathrooms.
