Classic meets chic
An effective makeover takes empathy with tradition and adds a touch of the modern Plumb-Line has the product range to make it happen
It can be difficult to find exactly the right cabinetry and tapware to set off your traditional renovation. One source is a specialist showroom that sets out an array of design solutions and product ranges.
Plumb-Line is a wholesale bathroom importer and manufacturer, offering a variety of modern and traditional options, says CEO Geoff Wallace.
"For a classic refit we display solid wood cabinetry, claw-foot baths, pedestal basins and tapware in everything from antique copper to textured brass," says Wallace. "Our 300m² showrooms inspire professionals as well as homeowners this project, by designer Debra DeLorenzo, was inspired by products seen on our shelves."
DeLorenzo says one advantage of Plumb-Line's showrooms is they let visitors appreciate an array of options at a glance.
"I first saw the beech cabinetry, claw-foot bath and traditional tapware at the Wellington showroom," says the designer. "From European to locally made products, everything was displayed with flair. I loved the mirror cabinet's internal lighting and the vanity countertop's sleek, fluid lines."
Plumb-Line's eclectic ranges are displayed at the company's two inner-city showrooms and are available at plumbing outlets throughout New Zealand.
