Changing rooms
The Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village in Melbourne has been designed to be easily adapted for a variety of future uses
Product appearance, price and efficiency all exert an influence on any tendering process. Stegbar won the contract to supply and install its Grange shower screens into houses and apartments in Parkville Gardens to meet both the timeframe and budget required by the developers.
The Grange semi-frameless shower screen was chosen for this development because of its clean, simple, slimline, and stylish appearance.
State sales manager Greg Pownall says the Grange range offers the aesthetic advantages of a fully frameless product, combined with the strength and stability of a framed shower screen.
Stegbar also installed the wardrobe systems in the units. These had to be simple and easily accessible for the athletes, and shelving had to be structurally strong enough to support a variety of sporting gear.
Stegbar has been in business for 60 years, and supplies shower screens and wardrobe systems for both residential and commercial developments.
