Carmaker Toyota's plans for Woven City reveal a prototype for the city of the future
Toyota plans to build an experimental city of the future to house 2000 of the firm's employees and associates – designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group
To be built at the base of Mt Fuji, Toyota's Woven City will be a fully connected ecosystem powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
This 'living laboratory' will include full time residents and researchers who will test and develop technologies such as autonomy, robotics, personal mobility and smart homes, in a real-world environment.
