To complement the blend of contemporary and traditional styling evident in this residence, the interior design team specified windows from Loewen Window Center of Las Vegas.
Company owner Shawn Colvin says his wish list was to provide the client with top-of-the-line, energy-efficient windows.
"To meet these requirements, we provided Douglas fir-framed wooden windows, which can be either painted or stained. For the exterior,sandalwood-colored, aluminum-frame windows were selected," he says.
Colvin says the craftsmanship that goes into producing the windows means they are more akin a piece of furniture than an ordinary window.
"The stain used on the Douglas fir enhances the natural characteristics of the wood. The grain and the color of the wood were chosen because they blend with the home's other natural elements."
Loewen Windows and Doors offers a 20-year glass warranty on workmanship and materials.
