Contract draughting services helped fast track this high school project

Finetuning a design ensures every aspect of a project fits with the original brief from the building construction through to the landscaping. For the Albany Senior High School project, contract draughting company WJ Cadzow & Associates was hired by Arrow International to update some of the design documentation.

Director Bill Cadzow says the company worked on a number of areas, including the landscaping.

"We undertook a lot of redrawing of the landscaping around the historic building, including the ramps and walkways leading to the sports fields, and the redetailing of the recycling bin enclosure."

The company also redrew detailed documentation for the floorplans of the buildings, when it was decided to use a metal stud framing system for the structures, rather than the planned timber framing.

Cadzow says WJ Cadzow & Associates specialises in providing contract draughting services to projects, consultants and contractors who may require additional resources for the preparation of the relevant documentation for a project.
