Some outdoor bathing spaces bring the option to enjoy a shower in the open air, while others let you soak in a tub under the stars. It is less common to find both in one pristine, private setting. This well-appointed alfresco bathroom, by designer Anne Levitch, offers both. "We undertook the whole-house project and the plan was always to have a traditional oval tub out side, perhaps with claw feet," says Levitch. "However, the owner discovered this one-piece tub and shower element and we decided it was well suited to the space. The tub's oval form ties back to oval vanities found in the main bathroom and powder-room of the house."In addition, the unit provided a practical, no-fuss solution for the owners, with all plumbing encased in the shower's upright element."
