The cabinets feature a mix of oiled jarrah and black glass edged in stainless steel these were teamed with black honed granite benchtops.The owners say they chose Smeg cooking appliances to complement the crisp aesthetics of the high-gloss black joinery and to give the kitchen dramatic impact. But the choice was not just about the look of the appliances. Smeg cooking appliances in new kitchen "Smeg's reputation for top-quality appliances was an equally significant reason for our decision," says Byrne.The kitchen, which was manufactured by Mackersey Construction, features two Smeg PVS750 75cm gas cooktops and three ovens from the Linea series the SA112-8 60cm built-in oven, SAP112-8 60cm pyrolytic built-in oven and compact combination oven. All the ovens and the cooktops feature illuminated knobs that enhance the high-tech look of the kitchen.Also shown is the Smeg SHIB120LEDSS rangehood, which ensures steam and odours are removed quickly and quietly.
