After expending so much time and effort on the plans for your renovation, it seems only right to hand it over to a builder whose work you can trust.

The owners of this home had specific requests, which were fulfilled to a high level of finish by their Certified Builder, William Jamieson from W & J Jamieson.

"One of the challenges on this build was to blend a multitude of materials, such as block veneer, Zincalume and stone. I believe belonging to the Certified Builders Association gives me the credibility that makes the difference and wins contracts for projects like this one, which require a meticulous approach. It also means being associated with people who care about the industry and the product," says Jamieson.

Membership is voluntary. Members must have a trade qualification and provide client and trade references to prove the calibre of their work and business skills.

"Through the association, we receive ongoing education about new products and building methods, and keep up to date with changes to legislation affecting the construction industry," he says.

Two principles of the CBANZ's Code of Ethics and Conduct exemplify the advantages of choosing to contract a Certified Builder: to act at all times with honesty, integrity and responsibility, and in the spirit of good faith; and to deal fairly and equitably with clients and other industry participants at all times.
