A well-developed property is likely to feature high-end elements throughout from iconic frontages to the innermost recesses of the kitchens.
From their perspective, attention to detail on The Hub project was paramount, says Clare Strickland, owner and director of Graphic Glass Services.
"Graphic Glass was asked to supply the mirrors for the two elevators servicing the apartments as well as the splashbacks for individual kitchens," she says. "High-end options were stipulated for both these applications. Given the communal use of the elevators, the grey-tint mirrors have a laminate-finish for both safety and low-maintenance considerations.
The custom glass splashbacks in the kitchens are also to the highest standard, says Strickland. Low-iron glass was specified at The Hub to enhance the whiteness of these contemporary, back-painted surfaces. The company can create the reflective, space-enhancing splashbacks in a range of colours.
Measurements were taken on site for the splashbacks when the kitchens were nearing completion. Precision was vital as the toughened glass could not be resized later when Graphic Glass installed them.
