Two elements central to the pier segregation project were material longevity and a modern design face. A long-life, low-maintenance roof was essential and with so many overhead observers, looks were also a high priority.

A Dimond V-Rib roof in Colorsteel Maxx was specified for the drape-curved section of the pier in a neutral Foam colour, says marketing communications manager for Dimond Scott Townsend.

Dimond V-Rib is well suited to drape-curved designs with its symmetrical profile providing inherent strength and flexibility.

"Dimond Brownbuilt 900 and Dimond Steelspan 900 were also selected for other sections of the airport for both roofing and cladding," he says.
