One of the most important steps when starting a kitchen project can be choosing the right professionals to assist you. One way to ensure a good result is to enlist the services of a prize-winning kitchen designer.

Lloyd Richardson, from Lloyds Joinery, this year added the National Kitchen & Bathroom (NKBA) awards' South Island regional prize for kitchen design to his already extensive portfolio of awards. He also placed second in this year's nationwide Kitchen Designer of the Year.

Lloyds Joinery entered two kitchens. The first design was highly commended by judges the only kitchen to receive this distinction in the South Island. The other won the South Island section and was second nationwide.

"An emphasis on design, industry experience, a good eye for proportion and detail, and a passion for the work are the reasons our kitchens stand out," says Richardson.

Lloyds Joinery is experienced in a wide range of design work, including commercial fitouts and furniture design. The company also manufactures and designs timber doors and windows.

Lloyds Joinery has also won the Home Ideas Kitchen Design of the Year Award.
