New appliance technology is taking all the hard work out of meal preparation. In fact there's hardly any excuse to eat out these days, because cooking is both easy and enjoyable with the latest technology.
Leading appliance manufacturer Fisher & Paykel has introduced several new models to its family of cooking appliances. The OB30 multifunction oven, shown here, is not your typical oven.
Vice-president sales and marketing Laurence Mawhinney says the oven's accurate and intelligent electronic temperature controls limit temperature fluctuation to deliver consistent cooking results.
The OB30 oven has numerous user-friendly features, nine cooking modes and a large, 4cu ft capacity that lets you cook several dishes simultaneously. The easy-to-use controls incorporate illuminated color rings around the knobs, which change from red to white when the desired temperature has been reached.
Other new products from Fisher & Paykel include the CG365 gas cooktop with recessed grates for easy pot handling, and the CE365 ceramic cooktop, which has HiLight high-speed ribbon elements for rapid heat-up.
