Waterworks Irrigation
Waterworks now creates water features in-house
Is that work clutter still out in the back yard? The new water feature's not finished and the garden party is tomorrow.
Waterworks Irrigation is a residential and commercial specialist in turf and garden irrigation, filtration, rainwater harvesting, and the creation of water features and organic ponds, says owner Mike Bluck.
"We are always looking for ways to improve our service and product to customers and so we have reinvented our water feature production process," he says. "Once we have final details of the site and the client's wishlist, we create the feature in our factory, using galvanised steel framing, acrylic sheet waterproofing and a lightweight composite material clad in natural stone. This process allows us to build, test and tweak anything from the design to the lighting to ensure everything is perfect.
"We then bring the feature to site and it is installed in less than a day. The process avoids all the mess and cost of craning a heavy feature into the yard. It also reduces the waiting period compared to building with stone on site, which is labour intensive and time consuming.
"Importantly, this system halves a client's costs, making that wow factor in a home or new residential development an affordable, speedy option."
