The city of Brisbane has seen an unprecedented level of urban renewal since the council's inception of the Urban Renewal Brisbane programme especially within the past decade.

Working in conjunction with council, a number of developers have transformed vast areas of former derelict land into residential and mixed-use precincts such as Multiplex Living's Portside Wharf.
