Versatile, efficient
Bigger is better when it comes to sinks especially when paired with Oliveri's space-saving food preparation accessories
A large sink can make washing up easier, especially with cumbersome items such as baking trays. However, it can also be detrimental in terms of the use of bench space.
Solving this problem, and still providing a larger, more efficient sink, is Oliveri. The company's latest range, called Nu-Petite, features a 30-litre bowl. However, food preparation space is not lost, due to a range of accessories that are made to fit over the bowl.
A stainless steel tray, with plastic edging for safety, can be used for defrosting meats, which would otherwise soak into or stain benchtops and wooden boards. For chopping vegetables, a timber board, with grooved edging for a secure fit, can be paired with a colander. This way, chopped vegetables can be pushed into the colander and washed before cooking.
The Oliveri sink range includes over 100 models, with new sinks and accessories constantly being introduced. One of the latest accessories is the Opti-Space plumbing kit, which locates the plumbing in an under-sink cupboard space close to the rear wall increasing useable storage space or allowing the installation of under-sink drawer units.
Today, Oliveri is Australia's only stainless steel sink manufacturer, with products exported worldwide. The company's advanced sink-making equipment ensures an aesthetically pleasing, generously proportioned sink that lasts.
