Have nothing in your home that is not useful or that you don't perceive as beautiful. That famous quote from William Morris still holds true today, and it's a philosophy interior designer Burns Century ASID, CKD applies to her own business.

"I am a strong believer in the need to create interiors that are meaningful for the people who will be using the spaces," she says. "By translating my clients' true interests and loves into design details, I am able to create something individual, be it a bathroom, kitchen, or any other space."

Century says she likes to discover what inspires her clients and what things simply make them feel good.

"This helps me to guide my clients through the details to create spaces that will be a true expression of their personalities. My focus is always on the creation of something that is simultaneously unique and meaningful to my clients a space that they can enjoy for years to come."

Century recently expanded her business to provide products that support her design concepts. She has created her own hand-carved furniture and vessel collection, which is characterized by flowing sculptural and organic forms.
