Two sides to every story
The ozone-treated swimming pool was supplied and installed by Mayfair Pools
A large swimming pool helps the homeowners to cool off on this sun-drenched side of the house. Richard Rowley of Mayfair Pools supplied and installed the pool, which uses ozone gas in place of chlorine for water treatment.
"Ozone is created by drawing oxygen from the air. This is then injected into the water to kill bacteria. Swimming in ozone-treated water can be likened to bathing in bottled water, as it is the purest form of water treatment," he says.
Another special feature of the pool is the internal LED lighting, which illuminates the water at night.
Rowley was also involved in the plumbing and filtration for the water feature at the front of the house, which is also fitted with LED lights.
Mayfair Pools specialises in custom-built fibreglass pools that can be manufactured to any size and shape, and with a wide variety of features, such as waterfalls and fountains. The company, which has been in business for more than 35 years, has a network of agents throughout the country.
