Trustpower's New Headquarters
Trustpower utilises Potters Interiors Systems for their new building
Trustpower’s new headquarters in Tauranga’s
central business district utilises Potters Interior Systems products throughout. The architect on the build was David Giera from Warren & Mahoney Wellington and the contractors were CBC Construction and Ceilings Unlimited.
Housing over 500 members of staff, the state-of-the-art building will
house functions ranging from the 24/7 control centre for Trustpower’s generation facilities
to Customer Service, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Community Relations.

Trustpower will be operating on a business
model it refers to as Synergy New Ways of Working. This utilises the building’s unique design,
which allows staff to work in flexible, alternative workspaces rather than being stuck at one desk all day.
The design responds to how people will move through
the space and where the focus areas are.
Trustpower Project Executive Karen Boyte says
that part of the change is acknowledging the technological and physical aspects
of the building.
Potter Interiors Systems supplied the building’s partitioning with alternating profiles including custom extra large and central line glazed A Series 132, in addition to the DS Series doors which fit within the Potters Aluminium Systems.Furthermore Potters Interiors manufactured and supplied the porcelain on steel whiteboards with black powder coated frames.
