Increasingly, bathrooms are being given space and prominence in contemporary floor plans. With an emphasis on creating an oasis of retreat and relaxation, it makes sense to set the most relaxing element of all at center stage.

The new Aquatic was born from the merger of builders' favorite, Lasco Bathware, and hydrotherapy specialist Aquatic Whirlpools, says president Gary Anderson.

"At Aquatic, we are inspired by the power of our products to relax, refresh, reinvigorate and renew to deeply enhance our customers' lives, whatever their needs," says Anderson.

Aquatic offers more than 330 styles of bath and shower. With this variety comes the ability to provide precisely the bathing experience you desire hydrotherapy, everyday or accessible bathing. Customers can even design their own bath, be it an undermount, classic tub, a sleek, contemporary bathroom centerpiece or a steam shower that puts other spas in the shade.

The company is respected for their integrity of construction as well as design offering thick Lucite acrylic coating and two passes of fiberglass on tubs for a solid, reliable unit. Hydrotherapy models offer a balance of flex and rigid piping to prevent bacteria buildup, with custom-molded structures individually crafted to dampen vibrations meaning Aquatic jetted tubs are some of the quietest available.

Innovation is key to our reputation, says director of marketing and new product development David McFarland.

"We offer fresh designs that benefit a range of customers. For example, Aquatic's new Ava Bath is an accessible bathtub that swaps an institutional look for a more luxurious one," says McFarland. "The highly ergonomic Ava model includes an easy-transfer, automated door that lowers to open and rises to close, making entry and exit easy and safe for people in wheelchairs."

The Ava Tub comes in three models Soaker, Whirlpool, and Air Bath with each offering roomy, benchless bathing. This enables a range of bathers, including limited-mobility users, to achieve the optimal reclining angle for a more immersive soaking experience.
