Take one of the best locations in Sydney, add one landmark apartment building, equip it with a high standard of fixtures and appliances, and you have a recipe for luxury living.
The new Ikon apartment complex at Potts Point is a case in point. Designed by Mirvac's in-house architects HPA Architects, the Ikon apartments and penthouses feature a seamless, contemporary approach to design and an abundance of natural light.
The spacious open-plan living areas make all the apartments well suited to relaxed living and entertaining. In keeping with this sense of style and the requirement for top-of-the-line fittings, Miele appliances feature throughout.
James Bell, Mirvac sales and marketing director, says Mirvac specifies Miele appliances for all of its premium apartments and homes.
"The quality of Miele products corresponds with the luxury standards achieved in all Mirvac projects," he says. "Certainly our purchasers appreciate the prestige of the Miele brand and find the appliances very functional and always of the highest quality."
All the Ikon apartments feature the Miele H387-1B KAT 70cm-wide, stainless steel oven. This multifunctional model includes enhanced fan heat, auto roast, rapid heat-up, defrost and intensive bake modes as well as a range of grill options. The oven also has a double rotisserie with two rotisserie motors. To make cooking even easier, the oven suggests recommended temperatures and provides electronic controls with full-text, rear-lit graphics. Energy-saving features include the use of residual heat and halogen lighting in side panels.
