Tone on tone
These inviting contemporary bathrooms feature a range of complementary surfacing products from The Laminex Group
Pared-back interiors are still the order of the day for many homeowners. But there is a noticeable trend towards warmer tones that create an inviting ambience.
These contemporary bathrooms were designed by the team at Design Studio, a division of The Laminex Group. Studio manager Sandi Pringle-O'Neill says the clients in both homes wanted their bathrooms to have a minimal yet warm look.
In the first home, the vanity cabinets in the ensuite and family bathroom feature Laminex Licorice Linea high-pressure and low-pressure laminate. In the ensuite, the laminate wraps around to form the vanity top. Pringle-O'Neill says the Licorice Linea was chosen for both its aesthetics and durability.
The second home's bathroom features a long cabinet in Dark Oak Formica Melteca low-pressure laminate, complemented by a CaesarStone Ice Snow vanity top.
Pringle-O'Neill says CaesarStone is well suited to bathrooms and kitchens. Manufactured from 94% natural quartz, CaesarStone is resistant to most household chemicals, acids and oils. As well as being stain and scratch resistant, the surface is nonporous, so it never needs sealing.
Design Studio offers a full interior design service the designers are skilled at finding cost-effective solutions that won't compromise aesthetics or functionality.
