The largest frameless glass revolving door in Australia greets visitors to 18 Marcus Clarke.
18 Marcus Clarke's modern aesthetic is evident in every facet of the design, including the entrance a frameless revolving glass door. The distinctive entrance is the first of its size in this country to be completely supported by glass, with no steel supporting structure.
AGP Door Systems designed and installed the transparent, technologically advanced door, says director Dick Rumbel.
"AGP revolving doors are all custom-designed and built here in Australia to an architect's specific requirements," says Rumbel. "Marcus Clarke's front door was designed by us in collaboration with Woods Bagot."
The AGP Crystal Revolving Door incorporates all the necessary electronic safety sensors needed to comply with Australian Standard AS5007-2007 and meet the stringent security requirements that come with a large Government department tenancy fit-out.
As well as the door itself, AGP designed and installed the frameless ground-floor lobby glazing that complements the door. This glazing and revolving door give 18 Marcus Clarke's formal entrance a light, welcoming appearance and allow maximum natural light penetration into the ground-floor foyer.
AGP provides a wide range of architectural products, including specialist glazing systems, operable glass louvres, facades, security entrance systems and motorised structures.
