Swiss arrive down under
Innovation in appliance design is nothing new to the Swiss. Having developed the first washing machine in the 1920s, V-Zug is now pioneering new technology in the kitchen and laundry
Just when you thought you had seen it all, along comes a new appliance that takes the guesswork out of meal preparation.
V-Zug, an appliance manufacturer that's a household name in Switzerland, is now distributing kitchen and laundry appliances in Australia. In the kitchen, the sleek, co-ordinated aesthetics of the FutureLine collection of ovens are turning heads, but it's the functionality that is capturing hearts.
Special features of this range include fully automatic V-Zug cooking sensors. At the touch of a button, individual recipes are automatically cooked to provide tender, tasty and nutritious food. There is also a patented soft-roasting programme that provides tender meat at the exact desired time. This makes entertaining a breeze the results are guaranteed.
The FutureLine collection includes the Combi-Steam SL oven, which allows you to cook balanced, healthy meals steam cooking preserves more essential vitamins and minerals. Several dozen recipes from top chefs are programmed into the Combi-Steam SL. And of course, you can also programme your own recipes.
V-Zug's appliance expertise extends to the laundry, where several innovative technologies have been introduced.
The silent Adora SLQ washer, for example, features V-Zug's WetClean and steam anti-crease settings, which makes it the first washing machine to use steam to remove the need for ironing in most cases. The washer also features the silent Vibration Absorbing System. Because the machine in this appliance runs completely concentrically and is vibration free, it makes practically no noise.
The machine has eight basic programmes, plus nine additional programmes, including special wash cycles for jeans, shirts, leisurewear, silk, baby clothes, and duvets.
V-Zug's Adora TSL heat pump dryer was designed to pair with the Adora SLQ washer. Because the heat pump technology uses 45% less energy than a conventional dryer, the Adora TSL is ranked as an Energy Efficiency Class A dryer. This means it is possible to protect the environment and still get your clothes dried faster than with a conventional dryer. The Adora TSL dryer has an airtight cabinet and highly efficient insulation to help minimise humidity in the laundry.
