To add a note of luxury to the bathrooms in this home, the floors and walls are finished in Rover reconstituted marble tiles

Marble has lined the walls and floors of grand palaces for thousands of years. Not only is it long-lasting, but it has the ability to add a feeling of luxury to any space where it is used.

The same effect can be created by using Rover, a reconstituted marble product, manufactured in Italy since 1954. Rover is made from marble fragments that have been crushed and mixed with a polyester resin to make a strong, hard-wearing product.

Imported into Australia by SMG Stone in slab and tile form, Rover is used for many purposes including benchtops, floor and wall tiles.

Because it is a reconstituted material, the same colours and patterns can be repeated, and project designers can help create new colours and patterns. Tiles can be honed, polished or sandblasted to create the required finish.
