Having recently acquired Tresco Lighting, Rev-A-Shelf is now promoting Innovation through Illumination alongside its Innovation through Organization promotion.

The lighting collection, which also has a commercial application, includes lights that use a single transformer, rather than a separate one for each fixture. This simplifies the ordering process and the installation.

Electricity is also put to another good use in the kitchen. In a separate development, Rev-A-Shelf has joined forces with Blum to release its first electric-assist storage system. Rev-A-Shelf general manager David Noe describes this as the first of a new trend.

"While we always need to be price competitive, we are aware that high-end design needs the technology to match, so we have taken the initiative to provide electric solutions," he says.

With the Blum Servo Drive touch-to-open system, the 4WCSD units automatically open with just a touch on the front of the door. The units also feature patented adjustable mounting brackets for ease of installation.
