Simplicity is the essence of a relaxed holiday. To enhance the streamlined, uncluttered look of this beach house interior, the walls, ceilings and doors in the living area were painted in Resene Silver Sand.

The surfaces feature Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen, a low-odour, waterborne enamel, which is well suited to kitchens, bathrooms and broadwall areas. The paint provides a durable, washable enamel-like finish. In critical light areas, its reduced side sheen will minimise surface imperfections.

Resene colours also feature on the house exterior. Here a variety of grey shades was chosen. The tower features Resene Cliff Face Grey, chosen to complement a custom-mixed Matapouri Grey for the walls, which is based on Resene Half Gannet. Soffits are painted in Resene Quill Grey.
