When the first European settlers came to Australia they brought a distinctly European mind-set along with them as well as handcrafted furniture. In the past 200 or so years, attitudes may have adapted to the Australian way of life, but the desire for European designed and made furniture has remained.

Since its inception in 2008, Cosh has built a reputation for supplying the Australian market with exclusive European-inspired outdoor furniture, says sales and marketing executive Gabrielle Kupke.

"Cosh has worked hard to supply quality furniture to discerning consumers from leading brands such as Tribu, Manutti and Gloster.

"The consequent success of this venture, gained through a consistent focus on customer satisfaction, has inspired the company to expand into the realm of contemporary and modern indoor furniture."

Cosh has secured distribution for brands Alki, Arketipo, Pianca, Potocco, Rivolta and Sur & Plus, says Kupke.

"All brands are designed and manufactured in Europe using only quality materials."

"Each brand has extensive options of European fabrics and leathers so as to customise pieces to your requirements. This means your furniture will look great and feel comfortable for years to come."

The new direction for the company is based on the ethos of its existing business.

"As with all the outdoor brands at Cosh, the amazing European design and comfort, not to mention the exceptional quality of the furniture, will make it easy to distinguish Cosh indoor furniture from other options currently available in Australia," says Kupke.

Sourced from Belgium, France and Italy, the Cosh indoor furniture brands merge modern aesthetics with old-fashioned craftsmanship. These bespoke contemporary pieces are created with the benefit of long traditions of durability and facility.

"This overriding concept of quality confirms value as the intrinsic approach of these brands the underlying principle of all their furniture production," says Kupke.

"Cosh has filled a gap in the Australian market for quality outdoor furniture, offering a comprehensive range of mid- to high-end products at a variety of price points. With the same uncompromising attitude, Cosh is dedicated to providing superior value to customers with these latest new offerings."
