Strong on aesthetics
From traditional to minimal Faber gas fires complement the latest interior trends
A fireplace will always create an inviting focal point, but when you're renovating you want a design that will complement the rest of your decor.
The new Faber gas fire collection from Glen Dimplex Australasia offers a variety of styles, ranging from the more traditional Spectra Nova fire (shown at top) to the sleek, minimalist double-sided fire (above right).
Glen Dimplex sales and marketing manager Brendon Massey says the modern styling of the Faber gas fires is proving popular, but it's not their only drawcard.
"Faber fires don't have fans, so there is no fan noise to detract from the relaxing ambience. In addition, as the fires all have direct vent or closed combustion systems, air quality is maintained. The heating performance is also improved as the fire draws air from outside, instead of taking warm air from the room you are heating."
Massey says the flexible installation options provide further benefits. As they have a direct vent flue system, Faber fires can be flued horizontally as well as vertically. This can be particularly useful for multi-storey homes.
For ease of use, all the fires can be operated by remote control.
