More and more people are opting for a hands-on approach when it comes to designing their homes. Working one-on-one with a designer to individualize your kitchen ensures you have a greater say in how your home will look.

Euro Marble & Granite takes this approach one step further by offering its clients the opportunity to select not only the type of stone countertop they like, but the actual slab of stone that will be used, says Agnes Sosnowska, Euro Marble & Granite customer service and operations manager.

"Initially, our customers choose the color of the stone for their projects from the large panels in the showroom. Then they hand-pick the slab to be used for their specific project and are given the opportunity to view their layouts on the slabs and approve all cuts. This assures that our customers are completely satisfied with the natural material and the placement of the characteristics of the stone."

Digital imaging is used to measure each project. The information is then collated using AutoCAD technology and a final printed template is created on site within minutes.

The digital measurements are taken back to Euro Marble & Granite's fabrication facility where an advanced CNC machine turns the chosen slab into the finished countertop, says owner Wojtek Rajch.

"The on-site electronic measurement and transfer process means there is no risk of human error. Likewise, the use of the CNC machine in our factory removes any likelihood of error.
