Sound solution
Keep the soundtrack in and unwanted noises out of your home cinema with a CinemaZone® acoustic wall and ceiling system
When you sit down to watch a movie, the last thing you want to hear is a truck rumbling down the street, or a dog barking in the background. Nor do you want to disturb your neighbours with noise from your high-performance audiovisual equipment.
CinemaZone® is a range of acoustic wall and ceiling systems specifically designed for use in home cinemas. Incorporating Boral SoundStop® plasterboard, CinemaZone ensures the sound of your movies and music stays within the room, and external noises are kept out.
The system takes into account details such as floor and wall coverings, size and location of windows and doors, lighting and ventilation.
Audiovisual supplier The Director's Chair chose CinemaZone for its display room in Port Melbourne.
Director Steve Hourigan says as it is used to demonstrate sound equipment, it is important to ensure the noise in this room does not disturb those in surrounding offices.
"We chose CinemaZone because it is a complete system that keeps sound isolated. It has exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to our clients," he says.
