A calming kitchen environment will tick all the boxes when it comes to satisfying the senses. It will be aesthetically pleasing and well-ventilated, as well as quiet to work in.

Christchurch company Ventech creates custom-designed rangehoods that silently eliminate odours and condensation. Director David Martin says the company can design rangehoods to enhance any kitchen, from the contemporary to more traditional farmhouse styles.

"Many Ventech rangehoods and ventilation systems have featured in award-winning projects in Auckland and Queenstown, and everywhere in between. Our systems make the difference between a noisy space and an entertainment-friendly environment," he says.

Ventech's latest innovation is a frameless extract grille for ventilation systems in bathrooms and laundries.

"The grille is barely noticeable, showing only a seamless negative detail in ceilings and walls, whether they are finished in tiles or plasterboard," says Martin.

Kitchens, laundries and bathrooms ventilated with Ventech systems will not suffer from condensation, steamed-up mirrors or mould issues.
