From the interior designers:

This nearly 1219m² open plan loft is located within an almost hidden 1866 building that was formerly an American Express delivery horse stable.

Upon entering the home, you are greeted by a gallery of photographs by Cindy Sherman.

These lead you into the main living/dining space that has been thoughtfully furnished incorporating Vladimir Kagan chairs, a B&B Italia sofa, Poltrona Frau dining chairs and a Fritz Hansen table along with custom furniture pieces.

All these pieces comfortably cohabitate with artworks by Bochner, Basquiat, Warhol, and DeKooning.

The owner, an audiophile, opted for a custom turntable and speakers from Oswalds Mills Audio. The speakers offer amazing sound quality while adding a sculptural element in the space.

A custom music storage unit was designed to showcase the turntable and house the (rather large) album collection.

In addition to that, there is a custom bookcase/room divider that was designed based on a quadratic diffuser.

In the kitchen, there is a generous seat that would make any chef happy while the kitchen also boasts a custom banquette upholstered in a Maharam fabric.

Each of the bedrooms has its own unique character.

One bedroom is an homage to pop art with Andy Warhol’s Queen Elizabeth by Flavor Paper while another is all about NYC and has a full wall city skyline and custom headboards.

The master suite is a quiet oasis that incorporates subtle colours and textures.

In addition to the generous interior space, the terrace wraps fully around two exposures (each over 18.2m long) which not only offers amazing views of the city but also allows for several additional rooms including a TV lounge, play zone, outdoor kitchen, elevated lounge seating, dining area and dog zone.
