Smooth operator

Sliding aluminium doors have been around for decades and there's little doubt they have helped increase the popularity of indoor-outdoor living. It hasn't always been a seamless transition, however. The traditional design of these doors features an ungainly channelled sill that needs to be stepped over to move from one space to the other.

A new sliding door from Fletcher Aluminium has been designed to overcome this problem. The Euroslider¢ has a flat-surfaced sill that eliminates the need for conventional bottom tracks and rollers. It also has rollers at the top of the doors to create a smooth lower surface for a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

As the sill surface is sleek and clean, there are no channels where dirt and debris can collect, which is the most common cause of gear failure.

Fletcher Aluminium says the door is fully adjustable and simple to install. It is also easy to clean and maintain.
