Specifying bathroom fixtures and fittings is a whole lot easier when you are totally up to date with the latest products and technologies.

From October 2008, designers and homeowners will be able to visit the new Kohler Showroom in Parnell Rise, Auckland, to experience first hand the latest developments in bathroomware.

Rob Watson, Kohler director of marketing for Australia and New Zealand, says the new showroom is a response to the increasingly design-savvy market.

"People have more access to information and are better educated when it comes to making purchasing decisions that reflect their lifestyles," he says. "The Kohler Showroom will allow people to experience our bathroom products exactly how they are designed to be used in fully integrated bathroom suites."

As well as displaying the largest selection of Kohler bathroom products in Australasia, the showroom will allow customers to try products. The fully functional displays will include the Spa Experience Room, which will have four working spas designed to relax, massage and invigorate.

Watson says Kohler won't sell directly from the Kohler Showroom or website, but the showroom consultants will provide customers with a personalised portfolio of products that can then be purchased through Kohler's nationwide distributor network.
