Sensual allure soft interior furnishings by Halo NZ
Soft interior furnishings by Halo NZ
Inspired soft furnishings and interiors are about quality, individualism and a touch of drama. Sourcing these things can take time unless a noted visionary eye has collected them together in one place.
Founded in England in 1976, Halo is a global leader in a broad range of leather furniture and decor furnishings, says New Zealand distributor Tracey Johnston.
"Halo design director Timothy Oulton has created a style the New York Times has described as bohemian and baronial. Oulton's handcrafted leather sofas and armchairs project an old-world charm."
Character irregularities are celebrated in Halo pieces, creating a vintage leather look that chimes with a variety of decors.
"The Halo range is eclectic and exciting. Examples include the Classic Upholstery Collection where antique or vintage pieces are infused with a strong, modern spirit."
For Halo's Contemporary Collection, Oulton was inspired by the Bauhaus and the Modernist style. The pieces achieve a sensual appeal achieved through modern techniques and traditional craftsmanship. The retro-look 60's Tribeca and 40's Reggio sofas have a distressed leather finish.
"Antique luggage and travel goods, crystal lamps and chandeliers, solid-wood Axel tables and shelving and Wentworth antique oak furniture are other refined Hero elements available," says Johnston.
