Seaside lifestyle
The specified joinery ensures the location of this house is its prime feature
As this home has views out over Tasman Bay, and a design aim to capture as much light and warmth from the sun as possible, large doors and windows are a key feature.
Nelson Vantage joinery manufacturer Insite supplied its Architectural Series windows and doors in a Window Bronze powdercoat for the show home. This high-performance aluminium range is specially designed for bold formats and where extra-large sized glazing is specified.
Insite also solved a number of technical challenges to meet the requirements of the architectural detailing. For example, all sliding doors were rebated at the sill to allow internal floor levels to lie flush with the door frame. Tall windows with high-level sashes were also used, as well as Insite's semi-commercial 40mm range of windows.
Insite also manufactures a variety of other designs and profiles including the Vantage Residential window suite, the Metro Series and the Metro Thermal Heart Series, a thermally efficient range of doors and windows.
