Refined outcome with RH Cabinetmakers
Close communication is a hallmark of RH Cabinetmakers
The look and function of your cabinetry is typically worked out between you and your architect. Then it is the cabinetmaker who steps in to turn great design into a practical reality. Communication between everyone involved is key.
And for RH Cabinetmakers this is not a one-way street. Owner Rob Hendrickx says his experienced company works directly from an architect's plans, but if a cabinet or detail needs tweaking to improve it or avoid a technical hitch, then this is communicated back to the architect.
"This tight collaborative approach also extends to the builder, electrician and plumber," says Hendrickx. "The result is a piece that responds directly to the client's needs in terms of looks and functionality."
RH Cabinetmakers built all cabinetry in this villa remodel by Scarlet Architects. This entailed the kitchen cabinets, a library and fireplace unit; as well as a laundry and vanities for the four bathrooms.
The kitchen includes two-tone cabinets in oak veneer and white two-pot lacquer. Blum Tandem Box soft-close mechanisms, decorative island panels and 60mm-thick composite stone benchtops also feature.
