Raising the benchmark

The success of any major building project depends on the ability of the project management team to pull together numerous diverse elements, within a prescribed time frame. For the Brindabella Business Park, that task was undertaken by Construction Control Pty Ltd.

Director John Gasson says Construction Control was contracted to provide Capital Airport Group with state-of-the-art, adaptable commercial office space of the highest design-and-build quality, meeting a clearly defined time line and budget.

"The main challenge was to get all the parties working together as a team," he says. "This included the design team and the subcontracting team. This was achieved by breaking down the traditional hierachies that exist in the construction industry, and developing a relationship with all team members whereby their input was encouraged, listened to, and implemented."

Construction Control has been involved with Capital Airport Group for several years, after undertaking the original upgrade to the airport terminal building.
