Kitchen mess of any kind is an eyesore, but nothing is so unsightly as rubbish and leftover scraps. Keeping surfaces clear and clean is easier with a rubbish or recycling receptacle set at bench height beside you.

Hideaway Bins from Kitchen King offer an invitingly simple way to clear benchtops of rubbish and scraps quickly making a difference to the look and operation of your kitchen, says business manager Jamie Bertelsen.

"All models support 40kgs of weight across the tracks, and componentry is made from easy-to-clean, powder-coated steel," says Bertelsen. "Several polyethylene bucket configurations are available.

"There are large 50L models suited to rubbish disposal and twin 15L versions that can sit one above the other as a four-bin system within a standard carcass height. These are ideal for recycling solutions."

Model styles include the Hideaway Deluxe, suited to more generously sized spaces and featuring a friction-fitted lid to lock away odours. The Hideaway Soft Close bin has ball-bearing, self-close tracks and an anti-slam vacuum damper, while the Hideaway Compact range is designed for use where space is at a premium.
