Relocating the door into this powder room gave privacy from the living areas and allowed a generous size basin to be installed – which doubles as a designer dog bath

Designer statement:
We purchased part way through a new build in 2020 and had the opportunity of re-designing the internal layout so the flow and functionality would work in with our busy, entertaining couple (no kids) lifestyle.
The powder room was opening up from the main living space.
The idea of seeing a toilet while eating or relaxing didn’t appeal to us at all, and decided it needed to be changed.

Using the Hafele pivot door into the hidden scullery meant we could relocate the doorway for the powder room to the scullery.
This gave us the privacy we wanted and needed.
We were then able to use this new found space for a generous size hand basin.
We have two small fluffy Pomeranian dogs and we wanted a sink that looked both gorgeous but also doubles as a designer dog bath.
