Polished finish

As a construction product, the strength, ease of maintenance and hard-wearing nature of concrete have ensured its popularity for exterior surfaces, floors and block walls.

These qualities make it equally suitable for various uses inside the home. The Concrete Doctors have made concrete popular for fixtures and furniture both within and outside the home, by adding decorative elements to the mix.

Coloured aggregate, glass, shells, nails or other objects can be added to the concrete mix or sprinkled into the top layer. Samples of any of these finishes can be made before the work begins. The concrete is then shaped and polished, allowing kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities, fire hearths and floors to be fully customised.

The Concrete Doctors can also rejuvenate existing concrete floors, by adding a layer of concrete over the top or by colouring the floor with a range of overlays. These can include coloured acid washing or polishing.
