Point of difference
We wanted Zone 23 to be a different type of commercial space, one that has a strong individual feel an iconic building whose brand and positioning would rub off on its occupants, says developer Mark Weipers
In terms of interior fit-outs, the look had to be in keeping with the overall feel of contemporary, honest materials. One company has completed three fit-outs to date in Zone 23, including the offices of developer The Location Group, project architect Avery Team Architecture, and Outline Design.
Focus Construction Interiors offers a complete package to clients, including new office fit-outs, refurbishment and alterations, building reinstatement projects, and general maintenance work, says managing director Barry Plumpton.
"For Zone 23, a wide range of products and finishes were used across three individual projects," he says. "These included fabric panels, spray-lacquered MDF panels, feature Woodex ceiling panels, feature oak sliding doors and Strandboard wall linings the look had to be modern, functional and tie in with the exposed services."
Focus Construction Interiors' experienced team includes quantity surveyors, contracts managers, foremen, teams of partition erectors and carpenters, says Plumpton.
